Option
2: Mountain Setting. 8 Days / 7 Nights March 20, 2010 - March 27, 2010 This program provides intensive Spanish language training at Valle de Anton, known for
its beautiful wild flowers, striking mountain ranges and unparalleled bird watching opportunities. This is a 7-day vacation
combined with Spanish classes. This program combines 25 hours per week of intensive Spanish instruction in a serene environment
with meals made with locally-grown ingredients, morning yoga or stretching exercises, and additional excursion activities.
This option includes; Visit to the Panama Canal and tour of the city, lodging accommodations for 7 days, Spanish instruction
for 5 days, and all meals provided for 5 days. In this itinerary you will spend one day in Panama City touring some
of its historial sites, visiting the Panama Canal and then moving to El Valle de Antón, located in the mountains of

Day : 1 - Arrival in Panama
City As
soon as you arrive at Panama Tocumen International Airport, you will be transported to
your hotel, the Country Inn and Suites Amador, or the Veneto Hotel and Casino. OVERNIGHT STAY DOES NOT INCLUDE MEALS. Day : 2 - Panama City Tour - Transfer to
Valle de Antón Starting
at 8:30 a.m. we will leave from your hotel and enjoy a panoramic tour of Panama City, crossing España Avenue, the largest
banking center in Latin America, Calle 50, Balboa Avenue overlooking the ancient city "Casco Viejo," recognized
as a world heritage site by UNESCO, and then going through the modern city of Panama. We will continue the tour with
a visit to the most important lock of the Panama Canal on the Pacific side, The MIraflores Locks, where we will have a spectacular
view of the locks and the Canal's operation completing the tour with a visit to the museum and its interesting display. Then
we will drive towards the famous Amador Causeway (Coastway) built with rocks and debris from the Panama Canal construction.
The Causeway joins the Islands of Naos, Perico and Flamenco. Today the Causeway is full of restaurants, shops, and spectacular
views of the city skyline and the Panama Canal entrance. You will have lunch (cost not included) at one
of the restaurants in this area and then we will initiate a 2 hour drive towards El Valle de Antón and stay
at either Casa Pueblo or Hotel Valle for the next days. Entrance
fees to the Panama Canal included. OVERNIGHT STAY AT EL VALLE DE ANTON. DINNER INCLUDED.
Days : 3-7 - Spanish Classes and Vacation at "Valle de Antón"
We
will have classes every day from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m (with breaks) and 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. After the classes, you have
the opportunity to explore and enjoy the various areas in El Valle de Antón including rappelling, bird-watching, visiting
orchid farms, enjoying thermal and mineral waters, or just hanging out with your favorite book at a hammock. If you
prefer to go hiking there are miles of hiking paths waiting for you to explore. Note: None of the excursion activities
are included in the price. OVERNIGHT
STAY AT EL VALLE DE ANTON INCLUDES ALL MEALS. Day : 8 -Departure You will be transferred
to the Tocumen Airport for your international flight back home. We will be leaving at 8:00 a.m. The trip takes
2 hours (if there are no traffic problems). Therefore, we advise that you schedule your trip back home for the afternoon
to make sure you have plenty of time for check-in. BREAKFAST INCLUDED.
